Hi, and welcome to Monthly-Calendar.com. This is where you can find, view, download, and print monthly calendars, yearly calendars, holidays, and important dates. We built it around one idea: finding a clean, accurate calendar shouldn't be a chore.
Who We Are
Monthly-Calendar.com is an independent website run by a small team. Arpit Patel started it and leads the research, content, and SEO. Roshni Arora writes and researches much of our content, and Dhiraj Kumar builds and maintains the site as our freelance developer. We cover multiple years and countries, and we're adding more country and regional calendars over time.

How We Get Holiday Dates
Holiday dates trip up a lot of websites, so here is exactly how ours are made:
- Start from the rule. Most holidays follow a written rule, like "the fourth Thursday in November" for Thanksgiving, or a set calendar, like the Hebrew calendar for Rosh Hashanah. We work out each date from its rule.
- Check official lists. We compare public holidays with the official government list for every year that list covers. For example, our US federal holidays match the OPM list, and our UK bank holidays match GOV.UK.
- Wait for official dates when there is no rule. Some festival dates are set by a government each year, such as India's dates for Holi and Diwali. We add those only after the official list comes out.
- Mark dates that can move. Muslim holidays depend on the new moon being seen, so we show them as "expected" until the day has passed.
- Fix mistakes. If you spot a wrong date, please tell us through our contact page and we will correct it.
Our Sources
For public holidays, official government sources come first:
- USA: U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM)
- UK: GOV.UK Bank Holidays (England and Wales)
- Canada: Government of Canada (federal general holidays)
- Australia: Fair Work Ombudsman
- India: Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) (holiday list for central government offices)
For religious dates we use the calendars themselves: the rule for Western Easter, the Hebrew calendar, the Umm al-Qura calendar for Muslim holidays and the Chinese calendar for Lunar New Year. Equinoxes and solstices come from astronomy and are shown in US Eastern time.

Why Holiday Dates Can Differ
Sometimes you will see two different holiday calendars for the same country. That is normal, because holidays often depend on the region:
- United States: federal holidays and state holidays can differ.
- United Kingdom: bank holidays differ between England & Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
- Australia: public holidays differ between states and territories.
- India: central, state, and Union Territory lists can differ.
- Canada: federal and provincial/territorial holidays can differ.
- Religious dates: some follow the moon, so a date can differ by a day from one country to another.

We wanted a simpler, more honest option a place to grab calendars and important dates, with a clear explanation of how that information is researched and checked.
