Printable 6 Month Calendar
Half a year on one page. A 6 month calendar lets you see a long stretch of time at once, so you can plan the first half of the year, the run-up to a big date or a school year in two parts. Choose boxes to write in or a clean dates-only view, add your plans and print it for free.
Tip: click any day on the calendar to type on it. What you type stays put when you change the style, the paper or the months.
"Download 12 months" makes one PDF with 2 pages, six months on each, starting with the month you picked. Your settings, events and notes are kept in this browser only. Photos are never uploaded or saved.
How to Make a 6 Month Calendar
- Pick where it starts. Choose any month, or tap Jan to Jun or Jul to Dec. The arrows move six months at a time.
- Choose how each month looks. "Boxes to write in" gives every day a small box. "Dates only" gives a cleaner overview.
- Add your plans. Use the Events box for dates and birthdays. With boxes, you can also click a day and type.
- Pick a style, a color and a paper size. Add a title if you like, such as "Our Half Year Plan".
- Download or print. "Download 12 months" gives you a whole year on just 2 pages.
Boxes or Dates Only?
The 6 month calendar comes in two looks. Here is how they compare, so you can pick the right one for the job.
| Boxes to write in | Dates only | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Short notes on the day, like "dentist", "trip" or "due" | A clean overview you can read from across the room |
| Your events | Typed right into the day box | Event days are underlined |
| Typing on the page | Click any day and type | Add events in the panel |
| Holidays | Red dates, with the names listed under each month | |
Not sure? Start with boxes. You can switch to dates only at any time, and your events stay put.
First Half and Second Half of 2027
| Half | Months | Days | US federal holidays |
|---|---|---|---|
| First half | January to June | 181 | New Year's Day (Jan 1), Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan 18), Presidents' Day (Feb 15), Memorial Day (May 31), Juneteenth (Jun 19, day off Jun 18) |
| Second half | July to December | 184 | Independence Day (Jul 4, day off Jul 5), Labor Day (Sep 6), Columbus Day (Oct 11), Veterans Day (Nov 11), Thanksgiving Day (Nov 25), Christmas Day (Dec 25, day off Dec 24), New Year's Day 2028 (day off Dec 31) |

Ideas for a Six Month Calendar
Tap a button to set up the calendar, then change whatever you like.
Half-year goals
Six months is a good length for a goal: long enough to make real progress, short enough to stay focused. Write two or three goals in the notes box, mark the dates that matter, and look at the page once a week to see how far you have come.
A school year on two pages
Most US school years run from August or September to May or June. Print August to January on one page and February to July on the other, and the whole school year fits on two sheets of paper. Add the first day, breaks and report card dates as events.
Countdown to a wedding or a move
When the big day is about six months away, the to-do list grows fast. Put every booking, fitting and deadline on one page, so you can see what is due this month and what can wait until later.
Project timeline
Long projects are easier to run when you can see the start, the milestones and the finish line at the same time. Use the Simple style, start weeks on Monday and add each milestone as an event. Pin it up where the whole team can see it.

- Make it big. For a wall planner, print on Tabloid (11 x 17 in) or A3, or take the PDF to a print shop.
- Edges cut off? Print at 100% first and use "Fit to page" only if you need it. Our printing guide explains each setting.

Yes. Add the birthday in the Events box and tick Repeat every year. It then shows up in every year you print, here and on our other calendar makers.
