Choose Your Weekly Planner Layout

Every layout prints on one page and comes with the same options. Pick the one that matches how you plan your week.

Vertical weekly planner

The 7 days sit side by side as tall columns, with lines for each day. It is the most popular layout because you can see the whole week at a glance and plan each day from morning to evening. It prints best in landscape.

Horizontal weekly planner

The days are stacked as rows from top to bottom. Each day gets a wide space for a short list of tasks, errands or meals. It prints best in portrait and fits nicely in a binder.

Hourly weekly planner

A time grid with one row for every hour or every 30 minutes, from early morning to night. Use it as a weekly schedule for work shifts, classes, appointments or time blocking. Choose 8 AM to 6 PM for a work week.

Undated or dated weekly planner

An undated weekly planner has blank spaces for the dates, so you can print it once and reuse it any week. Choose "Specific week" instead to fill in the real dates for any week from 2023 to 2035, with US federal holidays marked.

Weekly planner with to-do list and notes

Turn on "Top 3 priorities", "To-do list" and "Notes" to add boxes at the bottom of the page. Turn them off to give the days more space.

Simple, classic, cute and aesthetic styles

Simple is a minimalist black and white planner that saves ink. Classic uses clean blue headings. Cute has soft pastel colors and rounded corners. Aesthetic uses calm beige tones and serif headings.

How to Use a Weekly Planner

  • Plan once a week. Take 10 minutes on Sunday evening to fill in the coming week.
  • Start with fixed things. Add appointments, classes and work hours before anything else.
  • Pick 3 priorities. Write the 3 things that matter most this week in the priorities box.
  • Keep daily lists short. Three to five tasks a day is easier to finish than ten.
  • Review on Friday. Move anything unfinished to next week's planner.

Yes. You can make, download and print as many weekly planners as you like. There is no sign-up and no watermark.

What is the difference between a vertical and a horizontal weekly planner?

A vertical weekly planner shows the 7 days as columns side by side, which suits people who plan by time of day. A horizontal weekly planner shows the days as rows stacked from top to bottom, which suits short to-do lists for each day.

Can I make a weekly planner for a specific week?

Can I type on the planner before I print it?
